Upclose and personal…

• He’s a UP Diliman undergraduate. He took up a Civil Engineering course but unfortunately gave up college to support his family amidst a challenging financial crisis in year 2003.

  

   
• He’s a cyberaddict who surfs the net at least 8 hours a day on his workstation’s PC. He’s definitely not afraid of being caught browsing non work-related websites because he thinks everybody’s doing it in the office.
• He used to work in 9 branches of Jollibee just before he landed a call center job in Makati. He knows how to operate a soda machine, an ice-cream maker, a juice dispenser, and most importantly a touchscreen cash register.
• He has a 4 year-old nephew named Saint Trowa – his greatest motivation in getting a career in the call center industry. Like his nephew, he loves watching cartoon programs like Doraemon, Spongebob, and The Flying House (back when he was young).

  

• He is the eldest among 5 siblings – the only thorn among the roses (as most people would like to believe) but he would like to get it straight, he’s not!
• He’s always busy online. He spent most of his time in cyberspace checking his inbox, uploading his recent pictures, and updating his personal blogs and other sorts of social networking sites. A bulk of his online activities deals with Google Sites, Facebook, Multiply, and Manjam.
• He’s currently in a relationship with ******** whom he fondly called Bibi and just celebrated their 2nd year anniverary last March 23. ********** used to work in different call center and owns 2 cats: a Siamese cat named Michaella and a locally-bred cat named David . ******** lives in Batangas while he lives in Novaliches. He considers the situation as an almost-long-distance love affair.

  

• He loves eating chocolate cakes, home-made sweet spaghetti, and bunch of street food such as ‘kikiam’ and Hongkong-style noodles. You would usually see him with his nephew at Jollibee eating French fries, the classic ChickenJoy, and chocolate sundae. He often cooks pork adobo for his Bibi. He never likes the slimy texture and bitter taste of green leafy vegetables.
• He usually comes late to work but he never absent himself. ‘Better late than never” is not his principle. But he is definitely aware that absences adversely affect the payroll.
• He may look younger than his age. (This is self-explanatory…LOL!)

   

  

   

   

• He loves bargains. Often he would only buy things if they are on 50% sale or Buy 1 Get 1 promotion. He believes that there are a lot of things he could buy with money. So don’t be surprised if he says: “I’ll buy it some time in the future.”
• He’s into watching gore and modern horror movies. Some of his favorites are Hostel, Final Destination III and Saw. He also love watching game shows, suspense TV series, and reality TV shows. To name a few: One Million Chance in A Lifetime (seen way, way back), Wheel of Fortune, Alias, 24, Amazing Race, and Project Runway.
• He’s into reading self-help books. Among his favorites are works of Dale Carnegie and Paulo Coelho. You would normally see him browsing books in bookstore but normally he would not buy them unless they are on sale. Approximately 90 % of his books are tradebooks from Booksale/BooksOnBargain.

  

• Some of the things that he failed to learn when he was a child are: swimming, riding on bike, playing basketball, and break-dancing.
• He’s still thinking what life could have been if he’s tall, fair-complexioned, and rich (rather than being cute, smart, and sexy…LOL!)
• He’s good in Physics and Math but not so smart when it comes to the matters of the HEART. He is still struggling to keep a love that has never been smooth flowing from the very start. He’s deeply in love with ********* who’s not giving him the trust, respect, and attention he deserves.
• He’s still dreaming that soon he will be able to uplift his family’s life from poverty. That it will be sooner he could find his place under the sun: to graduate from college and to get a stable job with a salary conducive to provision a house.
• When he was a child he likes building doll houses for his younger sisters. He loves cutting out paper dolls and sketching numerous designs of paper dresses. For him he can get everything in life by drawing them and cutting them out from a piece of paper.
• He’s been with a Quezon City-based BPO company before where he worked as a telesales representative for Sprint. He’s currently an employee of a Makati-based call center. He’s working as a technical support specialist for Time Warner Cable

• He is nearly hooked to Bloons and Plants vs Zombies.
